Master your future: A PSM degree from Temple University

A Professional Science Master's degree brings together the best of academia and industry combining aspects of a traditional, thesis-based graduate degree with opportunities for real-world problem solving and hands-on experiences.

PSM programs at the College of Science and Technology

CST's 30-32-credit graduate programs prepare students for careers in pharmaceutical/biotech companies, research institutions and government agencies by incorporating laboratory or problem-solving experiences and professional development into required coursework. Courses are:

  • Often in the evening and/or online
  • Designed with input from industry experts
  • Focused on the skills and information students need to be successful in their careers

Although many of the programs require a STEM background, some are appropriate for students with other backgrounds, such as business. The cost for each program is $1,353.00/credit (PA resident) or $1,765.00 /credit (out-of-state) (2024-2025). Learn more about our tuition and fees.
